Annual Scout and Guide Carol Service
6th December 2009 St Anthony's Kraainem

Scouts and Guides from Brussels and Waterloo organise their own Carol service to celebrate Christmas and raise money for charity.


Annual Fireworks Display
Our main fundraising event of the year is usually held in November. We have a professional display and work together with Waterloo scouts and the British Guides to provide music and catering for this traditional British event.

Salsa Dance Evening

Remembrance Sunday

Every year a small contingent of scouts join the local Remembrance Day Service held at Holy Trinity Brussels. We also help sell poppies for the Poppy appeal.

This year was Sunday November 8th

In addition cubs visited Ypres,Tyne Cot and Sanctuary woods.

 St Georges Day

Traditionally scouts have celebrated St Georges day by joining a parade or service.

Benelux camp

Each year our group takes part in the BSWE Benelux camp usually held at Grobbendonk, Belgium. Each year over 500 Beavers,Cubs, Scouts, Guides, Explorers, Leaders and other adults take part.

Theme for 2009 was Dr Who and we were at De Kluis

On the 3rd weekend in October we take part in JOTI and sometimes JOTA too. The last couple of years we have been able to use the computer facilities at St Paul's British Primary. A big thanks to the school for hosting us. Some scouts also join in from home.
