1st Brussels, a British Scout Group in the heart of Europe.
parachute Our Group
Our group was registered in 1924 which makes us the oldest British group in Belgium. For many years the group met in the centre of Brussels, but we now meet in the Tervuren area, which is to the south east of Brussels, in Flanders, Belgium.

Many of us go to international schools and moved when our parents got a job
here.
We have many different nationalities in the group but we all speak English either at home or at school. All our meetings are run in English.

Scouting welcomes both boys and girls.
We are members of the British Scouts Western Europe (BSWE) Belux District and follow the same programme as groups in the UK.

We have about 170 members of all ages and strong links with the District Explorer group.

There are also British Scout groups at Waterloo and SHAPE near Mons. Scouting has accepted both boys and girls for many years, and all our sections are mixed.
