Phoenix and Griffin Scout Troops meet on Wednesdays and Fridays in the Tervuren area.

Scouts are young people aged 10.5 to 14

Watersports day

Some of the activities we do at scouts are camping, hiking, games, first aid, cooking, watersports, fire building, expeditions... Usually we work in small teams called patrols.

Each year we have various camps including a longer summer camp.

In 2006 we were in Echternach, Luxemburg.
In 2007 we attended the Haarlem Jamborette.
In 2008 we were at Merkenveld near Bruges.
2009 saw us in Brexbachtel in Germany, enjoying swimming, a pinball museum and hiking.

The picture shows scouts firing wet sponges from a large ballista they built. They also made their own camp t-shirts, which you can see if you look closely.
